Mitzvah Day
Tikkun Olam for the entire Beth El Temple Center congregation! Join fellow BETC members on Sunday, October 26th at 9:30 AM for a morning of hands-on service to help those in need. Stay to enjoy a community pizza party on the terrace at noon. We will be collecting supplies beginning October 16th. See details and register, as some projects have participation limits.

Social Action's "Welcome Blanket" Project
Stitch, knit or crochet for the Welcome Blanket Project (welcomeblanket.org) with the Social Action Committee! No experience is needed and all ages are invited. Together, we will create beautiful blankets symbolizing how we extend the warmth of our community to others. You can choose to make one (or more) 10 x 10 inch squares, or complete a 40 x 40 inch blanket on your own. Join us monthly to create, talk, and make connections. This is a welcoming community for any crafters to drop in. Bring your materials to work on, or pick up a starter kit. Email questions to

Beth El Temple Center is a Reform congregation of over 300 memberships, affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism. Beth El Temple Center is located in Belmont, Massachusetts and serves many surrounding communities, including Cambridge, Watertown, Waltham, Lexington, Arlington, and Somerville. Beth El has a strong egalitarian tradition and welcomes Jews and their families who want to be a part of our Jewish community.
