Thank you for your interest in Beth El Temple Center. BETC is a welcoming and inclusive Jewish community, filled with warmth and energy. We hope you will learn about Beth El by experiencing some of our programs and attending services.

Throughout the year, we offer many opportunities to connect with fellow congregants and to deepen your relationship to Judaism. In addition to a mix of traditional and creative worship services filled with music, BETC offers an adult education program, an outstanding religious school program, weekly Torah study with Rabbi Kraus, social justice activities, family education and more!

Our vision is of a vibrant Jewish religious community where the temple culture and activities support a sense of community and provide multiple levels of connections throughout the community. We endeavor to be a place where all are treated with kavod (respect), and where all we do is imbued with a thread of holiness. We have a deep respect for diverse perspectives and life experiences, and we support our members in their individual quests for meaningful Jewish lives.

One of our priorities is to ensure that new members feel welcome and included when they join our congregation.  We hold a New Member Events series, designed to introduce you to clergy, temple leadership, and other new members, and to help you get the most out of your BETC experience.

Finding a synagogue that is right for you takes exploration. We would be delighted to help you in that process by sharing our knowledge about Beth El Temple Center and our community.
