וְשִׁנַּנְתָּם לְבָנֶיךָ

V'shinatam l'vanecha

Teach the tradition faithfully to your children so that
they may in turn teach it faithfully to theirs.

At Beth El Temple Center Religious School, you will find a warm, welcoming, and inclusive school which offers its students the opportunity to explore their Judaism in a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment.

Torah Rabbi studentsOur goal is to expose our students to the traditional aspects of a Jewish education, such as Hebrew language, prayers, holidays, Torah, Israel, and Jewish values. Through this learning journey each student develops his/her/their own personal Jewish identity to foster a love for and commitment to a Jewish way of life.

We will not tell our students what to believe. Instead, we will share with them what Judaism teaches about such topics as ethics, G-d and values, and we will encourage them to make their own choices and decisions based on what they have learned.

student scribingWe offer experienced and open-minded faculty, supervised by knowledgeable and learned professionals, who partner with families and students as they travel on their Jewish journey. Our school has creative, interactive programming events such as Mitzvah Day, Tzedakah Fair, and weekend retreats beginning in fifth grade.

We also promote learning through family education, art, and music. We pride ourselves on offering our families the best practices in synagogue-based Jewish education, and we continually evaluate our program to ensure that we remain at the forefront of Jewish education in the 21st century.

As Director of our school, I invite you to become a part of this very special and wonderful Jewish community!

L’Shalom,

Rabbi Jamie Field,
Director of Education
