Refugee Response Advocacy Night

Join the Refugee Response Team in the Zonis Auditorium to hear about three very important proposed bills (the Work and Family Mobility Act, the SAFE Communities Act, and the Higher Ed Equity Act) that can help support immigrants in our communities. Learn how you can make your voice heard on these issues.
Eva Millona, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA), and State Representatives David Rogers and Jonathan Hecht, will join us to talk about these bills, why they are important, and how to effectively advocate for them.
Our hope is that after the event, people will not only individually support these bills, but also potentially do some group activities as well.
