Zahra Lofti is a professor of Afghan history. She and her family arrived here as refugees from Afghanistan seven years ago. Last year, the whole family proudly became U.S. citizens.

Susan Cohen is a highly regarded immigration attorney at Mintz Levin, and has practiced immigration law in the Boston area for 38 years. Susan is passionate about helping all immigrants, including through years of doing pro bono work with asylum-seekers.

Arlyn Roffman is a longtime member of Beth El Temple Center and one of the leaders of its Refugee Response Team. Arlyn has been deeply enriched by her close volunteer work with refugee families.
