Yom Kippur Study Hour
Thursday, October 02, 2025, 01:30pm

The Adult Learning Committee of Beth El Temple Center

invites you to join us for Yom Kippur Study Hour

(after the Yizkor service, approximately 1:30pm)

The discussion will be facilitated by Andrea Kramer, a Temple member and attorney who has studied and participated in numerous programs on Reparative Justice.

Repent, Repair, Reconciliation: Yom Kippur, by its very name, means more than just repentance; it also involves atonement (making amends).

What does Judaism tell us about how we make amends - to God, to others, and to ourselves? And what does Judaism tell us about forgiving others
and allowing them to atone?
