Mitzvah Day - Fall 2022

Join us for Mitzvah Day - a day of tikkun olam for the entire congregation. This is a day for all Temple members to come work together to help others in need, in the Boston area and beyond. Choose from among 18 different projects that will be going on simultaneously. Most projects do not have capacity limits*, so you can come and choose one or more to get involved with on Sunday morning. Thank you for bringing your hearts and hands!
After our morning of service, stay for a community pizza lunch and schmoozing.

- Winter items (hand warmers, new socks, gloves and hats) for Backpacks for Ukranian Children
- Kitchen and tableware (gently used) for refugee families
- Children's clothing (gently used) for Cradles to Crayons
- Books - children's and adult - for refugee children, Reach Out and Read, and More Than Words
- Diapers, all sizes, for La Colaborativa in Chelsea
- Food - canned tuna and low-salt vegetables for Family Table
- Bicycles for Cambridge Bike Give Back [please bring on October 23 only]
*There are two exceptions: the Cooking project and the Storytelling project do require pre-registration.
