Friday night, January 24th 8pm: Shabbat and Sermon-in-Song
Celebrate a very special Shabbat with Peri, our BETC choirs, and T’filah Band! Peri’s exciting Sermon-in-
Song shows us the power of song in the pursuit of freedom.
Saturday afternoon, January 25th 12:30pm: Journey through Jewish Music: From Shetl Songs to Sing-Alongs!
Sponsored by the Adult Ed Committee and the Bethelders. Luncheon included!
Peri looks at the inclusion of "progressive" music in worship from the start of the Chassidic movement to instruments on the bimah. Come enjoy this lunch and learn.
Saturday night, January 25th 7:30pm: Peri in a Coffeehouse Concert!
Join us as Peri takes the stage! A concert with Peri means an evening of sing-a-long and fun. Peri's music is thought provoking, spiritually uplifting and socially relevant.
Sunday morning, January 26th: Beth El Temple Religious School . . . meet Peri Smilow!
Peri takes students on a musical journey to find out what Judaism means to them. They will sing, laugh, learn, and even write their own lyrics to a song that will be sung at the religious school’s culminating Family Concert! Both Sunday School sessions come at 8:30am, Concert starts at 11:00am. Everyone is invited to attend!
