Lara Riehle began working as BETC’s Temple Administrator in March 2022 after serving as the Religious School Administrator since May 2016. Lara received her BA from the University of Vermont, in History and Russian Studies, and also earned TESOL/TEFL certification. Prior to working for BETC, Lara worked for the Department of Human Services at the City of Cambridge.
At BETC, Lara oversees temple operations and provides logistical organization and support to congregants, clergy, staff, and lay leadership. She also oversees building rentals, facilitates the B'nai Mitzvah program, and in conjunction with the Staff & School Assistant, provides support to the Religious School.
When not at BETC, Lara can be found teaching ballet at Fresh Pond Ballet, and enjoys creating pottery, listening to podcasts, and long drives in the car. Having been a child who was raised at BETC, Lara is happy to support and serve her Jewish community.
