Uniting to Support Refugees

The BETC Refugee Response Team invites members of the greater Belmont community to join together at a fundraiser for RIAC, the Refugee & Immigrant Assistance Center. Scheduled for Sunday, April 27 from 4 - 6pm, the event includes speakers who will report on the latest news regarding refugee relief and inform us about volunteer opportunities and other ways to help. Attendees can also enjoy delicious ethnic refreshments, hear wonderful music by some of RIAC’s professional musician clients, have the opportunity to bid on some special items in a silent auction, and enjoy the exhibit of many beautiful Welcome Blankets handcrafted by members of BETC and First Church in Belmont UU. See the attached flyer for details. We urge you to show your support and join us.
