Join Rabbi Kraus on Sunday evenings this fall as we explore Loving Our Own Bones by Julia Watt Belser. This class will present an opportunity to read an important Jewish book together and think deeply about how the perspectives offered might inform our lives as Jews, as individual human beings, and in spiritual community.

Rabbi Kraus’s fall class will focus on Julia Watts Belser’s beautiful and provocative book. As the title suggests, Julia Watt Belser brilliantly interweaves the wisdom of the disability community with the wisdom of Judaism. The dialogue that results is challenging, refreshing, thought-provoking, profound, eloquent, moving, and often inspiring.
