Repairing the World Together One Afternoon at a Time

Join with other members of the Beth El Temple community as we cook for homeless men and women sheltered at Heading Home’s Cambridge shelter.  We meet to cook on the second Sunday of each month from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the BETC kitchen.

December 9  Make Scarves and Hats for Homeless Men and Women

Come sew, knit or crochet. We have fleece leftover from Mitzvah Day to make scarves for men and women helped by The Boston Living Center. Or come knit or crochet a scarf or hat. We will also finish sewing some blankets leftover from Mitzvah Day. Can't come but have time to knit or crochet beforehand? We would love your made-at-home scarves and hats. The Boston Living Center provides free services to 7000 people living with HIV/AIDS - 45% of their members live below the poverty line, 35% have insecure housing. More info at www.Bostonlivingcenter.org

Yarn will be available in a box on the table in the Schmooze Room.
