Where is God?
A Kabbalistic Approach to the Disaster in Haiti and in our Times
At times like these we tend to wonder where God is, when seemingly random things happen to the innocents. The Jews in the Shoah struggled with these questions, as do victims of daily violence. As a group we will explore the Kabbalistic views of Isaac Luria and the Kabbalistic view of creation-including the concept of “Tzimtzum” or “Contraction.” Together we will begin to understand how others have answered this timeless question. This program is sponsored by the BETC Adult Education Committee Leader: Harriet Torgerson

Come breathe & flow, fine tune self awareness, step into the current of grace and experience meditation in motion. This yoga practice incorporates the uplifting philosophy and principles of Anusara Yoga, epitomized by a "celebration of the heart" that looks for the good in all people and all things. Louise has been practicing yoga for 9 years and would love to share a bit of this wonderful physical and spiritual journey. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat if you have one (as well as any other yoga props you may have, such as a belt, blanket or block). While no experience is necessary, you should be in good health with no injuries to enjoy this class and be safe. Please feel free to contact Louise with any questions about the class @
